Store Your Coffee in Six

Store Your Coffee in Six
We often get asked how often one should buy coffee. Or for how long coffee stays fresh. That all depends on how you store your coffee. First off, whole beans stay fresher far longer (10-14 days) than ground coffee and, if you keep them in an airtight container, then they can go up to 3 weeks without losing much freshness.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • No. Six Depot beans
  • Airscape 2 quarts

The Steps

1: Get yourself an Airscape. We sell them at the cafe and online. (We don’t recommend putting coffee in the refrigerator or freezer.

2: Remove the clear cover and plunger from your Airspace (you’ll have to pull pretty hard).

3: Put your whole beans in the container up to 1” from the top.

4: Replace the black plunger and push it down (feel it release the air).

5: Replace the clear top lid and store in a cool, dry place.

6: Buy your coffee every 7-21 days fresh from a roaster who roasts daily, is located in an old train station and likes old movie names.
